After three months of Pimoroni not selling a case for their NVME base and a random crash on another raspberry pi I have finally decided to buy a real (small) second hand computer for my home lab.
If that turns out to be too loud for my living room I swear I’m going to buy a Mac mini and run Linux on virtualbox like a posh caveman.

For some flibbertigibbet reason my computer had two fire alarms—one on the ceiling and one just above the door frame, several centimeters apart—whereas the living room had just one defunct 18-year-old-one which couldn't even be tested. Might put in a maintenance request. #TealLensman
